Trip to Rainbows end 2023.

Yesterday all the year 7’s from Pt England School went to rainbows end. We had to check our bags to see if there were any sharp objects because they don’t allow them just to keep it safe and for obvious reasons. We took the bus’s at 9:15 and got their at 9:45 we waited a bit because the gates opened at 10 o clock and we went in and went into our groups. The first ride we did was the Stratosfear Then we made our way to the Fearfall then we went to take our bags to the tables because we were too tired to carry them so we went to the log ride because it was close to where we were i was right in the front and i was soaking wet but luckily one of my friends brought towels. We went on more other rides and it was fun then we ended off the day with some Nice Cold Shaved Ice Cream and we got back at school at 2:35.

I heard a whisper but no-one was there

SO what happened on Saturday night is my whole family had a meeting about my grandpa’s b-day so all the older kids took the little kids to the park cause it’s just 2 mins away. They were playing at the park with my cousins and all of a sudden we all heard a whisper behind the tree. We stopped playing and we went to go and check to see what was that whisper? When we went to check no one was there so we looked behind all the trees that we could see and no one was there. When we couldn’t see any one behind all the trees we all took the kids and rushed to the house and we went to go and tell ill older cousin that we heard a whisper behind the tree. We walked back to the park and showed her the tree where we all heard the whisper and when she went closer she could hear the whisper so she peeked behind the tree and no one was there so she ran back and said she heard it when she got closer to the tree. So we all ran back to tell the adults that we heard a whisper behind the tree so they came out of the house and we showed them the tree where we heard the whisper i went to go and get some flashlights for them so they can see properly and when they go closer they could hear the same whisper all the kids could hear so they looked behind no one was there and when one of my uncles looked up it was a couple in the tree whispering in the tree. So they came back and told us it’s just people up in the tree. So we all had a laugh then went back to the park to play and one of my cousins said (What a waste of time looking behind all the trees) then we laughed more and my uncle said we can just have the meeting at the park so we can see the kids at the same time.

2022 Reflection.

Something in 2022 that I enjoyed doing was year 6 camp at Camp Bentzon because I got to hang out with my friends all day and night and to do activities.

Something else i enjoyed in 2022 was Polynesian Language Weeks because I got to learn more different Languages and i got to perform in my language week culture.

I enjoyed Reading Support i got to see older people and read with them and it also helped me get better at reading.

Something else i enjoyed in 2022 was the Manaiakalani Film Festival because i got to sit next to my friends while  watching the movies it was cool seeing my friends on the big screen.

I enjoyed doing the year 5/6 fun days because I think that it was kind of challenging like racing people through the bouncy house and pushing them off the other bouncy Jousting.
